The Pilotto family and the Beghetto family worked in Tombolo (in the province of Padua) in the cattle rearing and trading sectors
The two families began to do some trading together
Vitaliano Beghetto, along with Umberto, Bruno and Luigi Pilotto, set up the company TO.CAR, with the main purpose of trading meat
Giancarlo and Giovanni and Claudio Beghetto established the company CENTRO CARNI CONGELATE, a limited liability company specialised in meat processing and transformation. This is an important year. The Company also start to packaging anatomical cuts in vacuum-packed.
The two companies TO.CAR and CENTRO CARNI CONGELATE merged. Raffaele Pilotto, the second generation of the Pilotto family, also joined the company
A new production unit was built and the processing of fresh products was introduced
In the early 2000s, the company became an S.p.a. under the name CENTRO CARNI COMPANY. In addition, the facility undergoes an expansion of as much as 2,000 square meters with the implementation of new high-tech production lines.
The company expands and spreads over an area of 13,000sqm to give even more space for the inclusion of new technological production lines, for the development of new products and to meet the growing market demands.
With a view to innovation and product development, a dedicated room for tartare production is implemented, with specialized operators dedicated only to this delicate product.
MeAtSchool will be the meat academy offer from Centro Carni Company. This ambitious project, in which we firmly believe, would be a central point IN ORDER to give information, training and KNOWLEDGE to our customers, to consumers, to academicS, professional and high school students, about the BEEF meat.
The academy will not give a mere service, but it WOULD LIKE TO BECOME a partner THAT GIVES "culture".
With the support of the Univesity of Padua, renowned learning agencies and the patronage of Tombolo municipality.. this is just a bite of our academy..stay tuned!"
